Parent class delegate

The Parent class delegate acts as a contact between the school and the other parents. He/she attends all parent meetings, supports all events organised by the school and keeps the other parents informed.

Given that the headmistress has overall responsibility for all letters and information given out by the school, it is imperative she sees and authorizes any correspondence prior to its distribution.

The parent class delegate represents all parents and does not get involved in individual cases. He/she does not mediate between parents and the school (teachers and headmistress) and refrains from making any judgement on the teaching staff or educational matters.
