Located 25 km away from Brussels, Ecole
Internationale Le Verseau is a coeducational school which
follows the Belgian curriculum. It offers English from
nursery onwards. There are over 800 pupils with a maximum
of 22 children per class.
In the primary school, English mother-tongue pupils have
three to five lessons a week in English, while those of
French mother-tongue learn English as a second language.
In the secondary school, four hours a week of English are
taught, leading to IGCSE (International General
Certificate of Secondary Education) for English speaking
pupils.
All pupils are prepared for the Belgian school-leaving
certificate , which gives access to universities in
Belgium and the rest of Europe. Special classes available
for children who have no previous knowledge of French.
Possibility for French speaking pupils to sit the British
Council IELTS (International English Language Testing
System).
The school emphasises creative activities, music and
sports.
